Business Talent (Permanent) visa (subclass 132)
About this visa:
The Business Talent visa (subclass 132) is a permanent residence visa for business people who are nominated by an Australian state or territory government agency.
To be able to get this visa you need to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through SkillSelect and then be invited to apply.
You can be in or outside Australia when you apply and when the visa is decided.
You might be able to get this visa if you are nominated by a state or territory government agency and are invited to apply by the minister.
You must also either:
•have net business and personal assets of at least AUD1.5 million and an annual business turnover of at least AUD3 million if you intend to apply for the visa in the Significant Business History stream, or
•have obtained at least AUD1 million in venture capital funding to start the commercialization and development of a high-value business idea in Australia if you intend to apply for the visa in the Venture Capital Entrepreneur stream.
How to apply
This information explains what you need to do to apply for a Business Talent visa (subclass 132).
You and anyone included in your application can be in or outside Australia when the application is lodged and the visa is decided.
You must be invited to apply. Your letter will tell you how to lodge your application online using SkillSelect.

Some documents could take some time to obtain. You should have them ready when you lodge the application to reduce any delays in processing.
Lodge your application online
Pay the visa application charge by credit card when you apply. You must also send your documents as soon as you lodge your online application.
•If you hold a passport of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan: send the documents to the Australian Consulate General in Hong Kong.
•If you hold any other passport: send your documents by registered post to the Adelaide Business Skills Processing Centre.
